Control and Relay panel

The Control and Relay panel is a combination of protection relays, metering devices and another specific item which is able to work as a shield guard for all substation equipment and the electrical network where it is the most important equipment of the substation. Control and Relay panel is mainly used to control the flow of electricity as per the Voltage class and detect the faults in transmission lines. CRP is mainly designed mainly to control & monitor the electrical equipments such as transformers, generators and circuit breakers which are used for generation protection and control of power distribution system.

In this panel, forms of numerical & electromechanical relays are installed to provide damage protection to instrumentality. The panels contain elements meters, control switches and recorders located in the control building also called a doghouse. These are elements which are mainly used to control the substation equipment, to send power from one circuit to another or to shut down circuits when needed.

Actually, the relays are selected by NISSI expects based on the needed as per the requirements of the customer for their protection system. Where the interior system of the panel consists of the mounting framework for the system of relays, current supply, and the optional automation modules. Where the panels are not only used in substation but also plays an essential in the industrial and commercial sector where power consumption is very high. Those relay panels are widely being manufactured as per international standards which is well compatible with SCADA application.
